Starting May 1, 2016, the City of Wayland will have the ability to distribute Dog Licenses to our residents. In order to receive a dog license from the City please provide your dogs Proof of Rabies Shot records. We accept credit cards, cash, or check. You can also purchase them at your Veterinary's office or on-line at http://cms.allegancounty.org/sites/Office/Treasurer/SitePages/Dogs
Attention: The City of Wayland will be flushing fire hydrants and water mains May 16th through May 20th, 2016 to remove sediment. The project will not affect the safety of the water, but tap water may appear to be cloudy or discolored after flushing. You're encouraged to run cold water into your tub until it runs clear. It is best not to run your washing machine for 24 hours after to avoid discoloration of clothing.

Attention: The DPW will be doing leaf pick up only until Spring Clean-up. (Spring Clean-up is May 9-10)
REMINDER: PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH DISPOSABLE WIPES OF ANY KIND. DOING SO CLOGS UP THE AERATOR AND IS VERY TIME CONSUMING AND COSTLY TO THE CITY. If you have any questions regarding this issue, please contact us. Thank you!
