The Department of Public Works is responsible for, but not limited to:
Street repairs
Ground keeping, refuse collection and mowing of all city parks
Pavement patching and marking
Plowing of City streets and downtown sidewalks
Removal of dead and/or diseased trees in the City right-of-way
Tree Trimming
Annual City-wide residential Spring Cleanup
Fall leaf pickup
Weekly brush collection (May – October)
Downtown seasonal decorating
