SERVICE-LINE NOTIFICATION LETTERFor those who have received letters regarding their drinking water service material is "unknown",The State of Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy has mandated every Community Water Supply to notify their residents of the material that their drinking water service line is made of. Due to the parameters that EGLE has set, most of our service lines within the community are classified as "unknown" until we physically verify them, document and input that information into our database. If you received this letter, we would greatly appreciate your cooperation in sending us a photo of your service line, where it comes into your house or schedule a time when one of our operators can come by and document it. If you plan on sending us a photo, please ensure it is not blurry, well-lit and shows the pipe coming through the wall. Also, please include your name, address, and a good phone number for any potential follow-up questions. You can send these photos to our Utilities Director, David Paul at dpaul@cityofwayland.org or call at (269) 792-0686. Again, please ensure all information is included or we will not be able to use it for proper documentation.Thank you,David PaulUtilities DirectorCity of Wayland See MoreSee Less
